The FAA implemented new commercial drone safety regulations this Monday, August 29th. They were designed to ensure commercial drones operate safely without stifling innovation.
“With these rules, we have created an environment in which emerging technology can be rapidly introduced while protecting the safety of the world’s busiest, most complex airspace,” FAA Administrator Michael Huerta told a news conference.
